Yeah, well if you can't remember the eighties, you weren't really there.

I was still in convalescence from the 60s...

Oh, and I see now The Wanderer is a solo album by Kevin Rowland.

Jazz generally does have a tune but they don’t necessarily play it to you.

Last year they booked their first U.S. tour since 1983 or '82 or somesuch. No Texas dates naturally so I bought a ticket for their Denver, Colorado show. A week or so beforehand they canceled the entire U.S. leg. Darn sad I was but, with a plane ticket already purchased, I spent several November days goofing around Denver.
They're of that list of bands or singers I always wanted to see but for whatever reasons haven't yet. (Costello, Richard Thompson, for example.)
Anyway, love the first three albums, like "Soar" okay and never bothered with the covers album.
"Feminine Divide" I bought on CD and vinyl but so far it's been a situation of wishing I liked it more than I actually do. Some of it's all right though in fairness I gave it four or five listens and haven't played it in months. Might revisit it someday, don't know.
Not really related and not as anyone cares but this year has been good for the wanted to but never saw list.
I saw Dylan for the first time last month and will see ELO, or whatever passes for ELO now, in October. More exciting, as I figured he was one I'd never see, Weller in September. Though I'll have to head to Boston to pull that off.
Then Neil Young who was supposed to play here May 2. Dodgy weather bumped that to Sept. 14 then a few days later they bumped it back to May 27.
Yesterday, of course, they bumped again. New date TBA.
Thinking he'll die of old age before I see him at this point.
Sweet potato ya got it, apple ya ain't.

It was briefly available on Print On Demand CD in 2004. I could do the necessary if you'd like.

Pretty sure there was one on the inner sleeve of the LP, but it doesn't want to turn up on google.

Excellent. He might be in one or other of the videos as well. And did he go on Wogan with them?

Looking at the credits there - is that longstanding Quo substitute bass-player 'Rhino' Edwards? Oh it is!

It's not very good, the production is horrible. I bought it on release on vinyl and then again on cd.

There are a few back up the page, do pay attention.

Meanwhile Dexys are at Koko tonight and they are giving tickets away because no one much seems interested in buying them.
I'm previously engaged or I'd have gone.
