Narrow minded is Beefheart, not Middle of the Road

I don't think so, Beefheart is the done thing among the cognoscenti. Middle of the Road is taking risks in that context.

You, Robert, you, of course. I'm just your Sancho Panza.
Anyway, at the end of the day, Middle of the road were just a non descript pop band with no discernable merits and a record which is in the top fifty, ever, of record sales for a single.

Quite, my thoughts exactly.

Re: the crowd comment, never realised that one person constitutes a crowd - still you learn something every day, except of course if you are narrow minded.

As for Sancho Panza I always loved the Lone Ranger as a child growing up in the late 50s and early 60s so perhaps Tonto instead? If not Sancho Panza is just fine, thanks amigo.
