Did this album come as a bit of a surprise at the time?


Much more adventurous than the preceding albums, more jazz fusion orientated.

i was waylaid by a roving band of scabby ruffians (my insurance company on the phone)

I have to say, some of this reminds me of the sort of thing mod and trendy people dance to on more 'straight' tv shows like Dragnet or Hawaii Five-O in episodes about drug taking. Circa 1969-72

Just my view.
