The New Gong at a Chapel in Allentown, PA
Love this new take on Gong who will take Gong to infinitely and beyond.
Really liked their take on Gong. They mostly just did their new album but did a cover of Master Builder and You can't Kill Me.
Didn't realize the leader is Kavus Torabi from the 90's band Guapo who I saw at NEARfest in the 00's.
Neil Young at the Capital Theatre
Love seeing Neil at this small venue still have no idea how Jeff Shapiro gets Neil to play here.
He did an Epic 13 minute Down by the River

Re: return of the live gigs
Blue Oyster Cult playing the London Palladium next May if there is anyone interested in seeing them before they all die.
I will be a few days off retirement out at Sea somewhere sadly, but I saw them a year or two back and if it is the same set up it is Eric Bloom and Donald Roeser, which is the basic core of the band - lead guitarist and front man, they were pretty good then, I go again if I could.
The London Palladium seems an odd choice, do they do many rock gigs there ? Edit - Isee Uriah Heep are also playing there next year. About 1000 fewer seats than the Hammersmith Odeon, so perhaps it is just that although the Odeon was full last time out, seems to be the same tour I saw 2 years ago coming around again, the On Tour Forever tour

I last saw BOC about 15 years ago & they delivered. They knew who was coming to see them and they always had a couple of fun deep cuts (that night they did ME262, Last Days Of May and Harvester of Eyes among the usual hits) that seem to get traded out, so us old heads would have a reason to go back next time. They still had Allen Lanier at the time. But I'm sure whoever it is will be up to the task.

The Darts
The Darts were, as always, amazing. The played in a room fractionally bigger than my living room with probably worse lighting, so photos are lo-fi to say the least.
