Forgotten producer? This however looks like a fine compilation.

I like him even more now that I see how he dressed!

Not sure about forgotten but possibly overlooked. I associate him mostly with Elton John but I really like the XTC album he produced. Never heard the first Joan Armatrading album he produced and need to check that out.

The tracklist is strong:
1.1 She's Not There - the Zombies
1.2 All Your Love - John Mayall with Eric Clapton
1.3 I'm the Urban Spaceman - the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band
1.4 Oh How She Changed - the Strawbs
1.5 Mr Armageddan - the Locomotive
1.6 Love You Too - Sounds Nice Feat. Tim Mycroft
1.7 Space Oddity (UK Single Version) - David Bowie
1.8 Boredom - Tea ; Symphony
1.9 Streets of London - Ralph McTell
1.10 Sixty Years on - Elton John
1.11 Eye to Eye - Audience
1.12 Tokoloshe Man - John Kongos
1.13 My Family - Joan Armatrading
1.14 Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long
1.15 Long Time) - Elton John
1.16 Whatever Gets You Through the Night - Elton John Band Feat. John Lennon ; the Muscle Shoals Horns
1.17 How Glad I Am - the Kiki Dee Band
1.18 Run for Home - Lindisfarne
1.19 Fool (If You Think It's Over) (Single Edit) - Chris Rea
1.20 Halfway Hotel - Voyager
1.21 The Disappointed - XTC
1.22 Springtime for Hitler - "Legs" Larry Smith

Just the Zombies' 'She's Not There' is enough for legendary status, for mine. But what a list; and don't forget that he did the first few Michael Chapman albums too, i think 3? He sure played a part in the making of some absolutely wonderful music.
