Surprised this hasn't gone up yet...

I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

James Chance - Christmas With Satan - YouTube

From "The Ze Christmas Album" (1984); included on the James Chance box set "Irresistable Impulse."
There's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over

Wish I could find the rest of this comp, especially Frog Pocket's "I Saw Mummy Eating Santa's Eyes" and Final Brass Rabbi's "Our Wayne is a Minger"

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

This jolly little number was a radio/turntable hit in 1979 in the UK. It never made the charts but some of you may remember it.
It reminds me of one of my last Christmases at home with my parents.

Oh and Pete Sinfield is credited with the lyrics, although I'm not sure if that's for translating them from the original Italian.

"Merry We Will Be" by Angelo Branduardi
oh the sun is shining
and I'm on that road
