It's interesting, Wiki says the cover was taken at a 1968 concert but we know, from Trevor, that that is wrong.

I think that contributor has got confused with the live second record of their second album Sweet Child which was recorded at the Royal Festival Hall in 1968

We know the cover photo was taken on 30th June 1969

Interesting, not something I'd considered. The clarity of the acoustic soundscape binds into a unifying whole for me, but I can hear what you mean.
