Dang... I thought about the O'Jays, and I SHOULD have thought about Mr. Croce...

Congratulations!!

Once more, it seems to be a UK thing and I've never knowingly seen that album in my life.

(not to mention that Marmalade were - undeservedly, perhaps - filed under "uncool pap" in my book anyway)

I almost feel like apologising but I like to chuck in the odd album that really was disposable / uncool pap (as you put it!) to really test you lot.

(Lieutenant Pigeon / Gilbert O'Sullivan etc.)

Marmalade made some FANTASTIC singles....Rainbow, Reflections etc. This morning, based on your Pop/UK no 1. clue, I waded through every number 1 from 1964 until now. Rate your music took a battering. Marmalade were one of my possibilities, but I only looked at the covers of their studio albums and not greatest hits. That's two hours of my life I'll never get back

Reflections of The Marmalade wasn't a Greatest Hits album (originally anyway).

https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album ... marmalade/

(I actually thought Reflections of My Life was a No 1 single but seems like it only reached No 3 although Ob La Di was a No 1.)

I really liked Radancer, one that never gets played. "I met a girl on a Northern dancefloor, she looked 16 she could have been more...."

And I am as blind as a bat! There it was....the cover before my very eyes....and I, too, thought they had more than one number one.

Well sometimes someone has to take one for the team, and we really appreciate it.
