Finally, Sir Paul sets the record straight: https://www.yahoo.com/news/paul-mccartn ... 59310.html
I always thought Paul had little reason to cause the split, for Beatles was more and more his band after Abbey Road.
it was John who broke up the Beatles, not Paul

This is old news Googa, every book I've read about the Beatles says this.

Quite. I was surprised that this story made such a splash over the last few days. This has been common knowledge for decades.
Bugger off.

Maybe it's the first time we get it straight from the horse's mouth, an admission from Paul.

Was in both biographies involving memoirs from Paul with full access to family, friends, etc in the Philip Norman book.

Between this and this:

I think ol' Pauly's trying to drum up business for the new Get Back movie.
I would look at anything he says for the rest of the year in that light.

Paul's hoping there are enough readers for whom it would be "news". Anyway, the Get Back movie is probably what motivated him, I have just found out it's going on Disney+ for streaming. So I'll get the Blu, in that case. I would have done so, anyway.
