Guitar composed 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and a scattering of rarer gases put back down.

I am green with envy.

Mind you, I had not heard of the band at that point. January 1976 was my awakening.

Also, I was eleven years old in January 1973.

in jan 73, i was ten.

trick of the tail, i heard first at a party.

then i went backwards.

I wonder if some of these lyrics came from dreams.

Or acid dabbling.

The band say they never took anything stronger than beer.

I lent her my checked lumber jacket I was wearing a leather bomber jacket.

We left them both in the car. On show

but consistently with lyrics that skirt dreams, mythology, pastoral stuff, orwellian stuffff... i mean, i think lamb lies down is in large part about the psyche.

Come to think of it, there are resonances between the surreal narrative of this epic song and Lamb Lies Down... - body morphing, references to classical mythology (Narcissus/Lamia).

Worth further consideration. Doobs.

Fairly sure that Hackett has said that Peter's first wife being on a bad trip was part of the inspiration for part of Supper's Ready.

I have seen Re-Genesis do this a couple of times.

Once at the Astoria on my birthday.

They cranked it high indeed.

Lovely.

my ma wrote her master's thesis on jacobean revenge drama... and she called it, biblically, "in my father's house there are many rooms"...

and i have been convinced since i was young that the chamber of 32 doors are all different rooms... compartments... in the mind.

there is a very smart method to all this "madness" i mean
