Can't quote George Harrison exactly, but he said something that meant when he first heard Indian music it clicked with him, it sounded like he was home.


I was led to Indian music via George Harrison - my first Indian album was Shankar Family and Friends. Thanks George!

on my dad's side, yeah. but my dad was allll kinda twain-ish and not at all britly when i was growin up.. my ma had cajun roots (french mainly)

but i was always an angophile, from a very early age. i stayed that way, mwhahaha. when i got to the UK, though, i seriously felt like i had got home. the way things looked, the way the air smelled, the way the landscape looked. can't explain it
