A Charlie Watts anecdote from a previous PSL:

LMG wrote:This album was recorded at Olympic Studios, 1970.

By coincidence, I was reading Deke Leonard's tales of recording there while the Stones recorded in the other studio to the one they were in.

They used to tease Charlie mercilessly once they realised he avoided using the term 'Stones' to refer to his bandmates:

'Have you seen the boys - have they been in?'

'Boys, Charlie? Boys? There were a few girls around earlier, they've gone I believe...'

'No, the guys - my lot, you know?'

'Your lot Charlie? There was a guy around, I believe, he left with two of the girls, I think'

And so on indefinitely...

Lovely story.

Should have told him Mick was in earlier, asking if anyone had seen his drummer...

Both bonus tracks were recorded live at The Keystone, Berkeley, California in April 1975

If I wasn't so lazy I'd go and fetch my Merl Saunders/Jerry Garcia Live at the Keystone album and see if there are details. Bet it's in the USA.
