What are you most excited about on the new "Feel Flows" box set?

Postby GoogaMooga » 05 Sep 2021, 08:58

The Dennis Wilson songs recorded with Rumbo were released as two singles back in the early 1970s. Until now, we have only had one of the songs out on CD, on a V.A. compilation, "Under the Influence", curated by Super Furry Animals: the lovely ballad, "Lady".

They're both great. I got my Feel Flows box a few days ago, but have only had the time to play the first disc.

I just bought the 2 CD version, is there anything on the 5 CD version but not on the 2CDs that is a real must have? There's already plenty of non-essential stuff on it as it is.

108 unreleased tracks, how many of those are entirely fresh songs, I don't know. But both of Dennis Wilson's singles cut with Rumbo are on it.

Two CDs in, and there have already been some four or five tracks that I could happily do without. Unfortunately, the 2 CD set leaves out some important stuff, so 5 CD it is.

Just compared the 5 CD box set with the 2 CD double, and you really need the box to get the gems. The double is not entirely without interest, but if you are a diehard fan, you need the box.
