I am playing the Steve Wilson remix.

As always, he retains the core of the album, but brings out bits previously buried in the mix.

I am noticing more flute from Jimmy Hastings. Drums seem pushed up a bit - and is that cowbell I hear?

At the 40th anniversary show for this album, poor Richard Coughlan was only able to sit by his young replacement on drums and tap a tambourine and bang a cowbell.

It was a grand night out. We sang ourselves hoarse.

I love the reformed Caravan lineups I have seen. But I so so wish I had seen the version in the early 90s with Richard and Dave SInclair. It would have been simple - but I was not a fan in those days...
