How does a person end up with so many Kitaro albums?surely one was enough to realize he's no good.

Most of the stuff I am posting here I paid 20-50 pence for and listened to once. I thought Kitaro was okay as background music, but I have changed my mind.

Okay, below you will find one of the worst album covers I have ever seen. The content is not that bad, just boring neo-folky ballads.

It appears to be a doggone OCEAN of bath water.

I may quit the thrift shops altogether. I've got all the run of the mill that I need, and it's diminishing returns for every visit.

Sixth round. All the petrol station CDs and the really naff are gone, now I am moving on to the mediocre. I need to cull hundreds more, to make room for future purchases. It has to be a zero sum game from now on.

Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better
Live - The Distance to Here
Honeyz - Wonder no. 8
Monifa - Mo-hogany
Corinne Bailey Rae - The Sea
Kim Larsen - Gammel Hankat
Sharleen Spiteri - Melody
Little Steven - Freedom - No Compromise
Corinne Bailey Rae - s/t
Sacred Treasures - Choral Masterworks From Russia
Babyface - Face2Face
The Game - Lax
Snow Patrol - A Hundred Million Suns
Peter Sellers - Classic Songs and Sketches

The only two from those that interest me are the Corrine Bailey Rae & the Russian Choral Masterworks, but as I rarely play the CBR I have and suspect you might have some other CDs of Russian sacred music (Eastern Orthodox choirs? I concur with your decision to jettison.

I kept The Red Army Choir because it is more exciting. I have no other Russian sacred music, nor do I own any Gregorian Chant. As for other Eastern European stuff, I already got rid of La Mystère de Voix Bulgares. Corinne Bailey Rae sounded okay on first listen, sort of a lighter version of Erykah Badu, but on further listens, I think she is a bit boring.

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it, I think. If I were to keep any, they would be the ones. But these days I can't help but think, this CD is taking up space from an even better CD. So I am merciless now.
