Exuma

Postby Rorschach » 09 Jun 2021, 10:15

Anyone know anything about this guy (real name, Macfarlane Gregory Anthony Mackey)?

What little I know of him he sounds like a bit of a nutter but I've never held that against anyone. He's Bahamian, the electrical part of his being came from beyond Mars; down to Earth on a lightning bolt, he wrote Brown Girl In the Ring and received a British Empire Medal from her majesty.

Whatever, I love this track. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Bugger off.

This turn up on your Spotify discovery by any chance? It appeared on mine a few weeks ago. He is a bit of a legend.
Dambala is his finest hour from the same album.

Exactly. Does that mean we have similar taste (unlikely) or that pull discovery from a limited pool?
Whatever, I tend to really like my weekly discovery playlist.

Bt the way, please PM me your Spotify name if you don't mind me digging around in your library.

I've just headed straight to Amazon to buy that. I love anything cerebral with a hint of madness. Right up my street. Thanks for posting.

Never heard of him/her/them/it.

Another fucker I'm going to have to look out now! Mind you, if it's anything like as good as this guy I'll be well happy.
