Exactly. I didn't put in Bob Dylan and VDGG, which is unforgivable.
Adore Joy Division but 2 albums are not enough to put them in my list of 30th best.
I'm not going to do this any more. I think.

The former any day

It's funny you bring them up because I was playing the Here Come the Nice Immediate Anthology in my car driving to work today.
The music definitely has ELP antecedents except it's poorly recorded and Jackson can't really sing.

But other than that...

This is a very interesting list, the most interesting so far. So many unexpected names. Some of them I have never even heard of! What was in your coffee this morning?

Pure Rwandan. TBH I found it difficult to narrow it down. It would probably look different tomorrow. But I'm on a day off today and have been up since 5 and have played 4 records by bands on that list.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I was like, totally into Jandek before he was famous for being obscure. ;)

But surely everyone has to like Blue Corpse and Ready for the House?
