8 out of 10 tracks on Tumbleweed Connection received a vote.

Compare to:
6 out of 9 from Madman
5 out of 10 from Honky Chateau
7 out of 10 from Elton John
9 out 18 from GYBR

Despite the lack of a big hit it's a really solid and consistent album. My second favourite after Madman.

Yeah, I inexplicably left it out completely, an oversight on my part, it’s a brilliant song. Captain Fantastic/ Yellow Brick Road are peaks for me. Big shout out to Gus Dudgeon for the “sound” of those records.

Amazing how the best triumphs, while everything else is in the wrong position on the list.

Your votes, had you made them, may have made the difference.

I'm no fan -- particularly of Bernie's lyrics.

My list would include Tiny Dancer (of course), Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me The Club at the End of the street...and from then on, I'd be lost.

I've always enjoyed him live, though, including "that" Troubadour gig.

I'm too embarrassed to post my list; it's all the hits filled out with a few album tracks I'm vaguely familiar with.

But I knew enough not to include Candle in the Wind!
Bugger off.
