I did, yes.


But I didn't include the female singers (Elkie and Maggie, etc.)

Robert was a good singer but did stray off the blues rock path after a couple of solo albums.

Long John Baldry was Dr Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog, right? That was some good growling.

I don't think anyone can really defend Joe Cocker. Why didn't he just see a doctor?

Didn't know that about Long John.

As for Joe, I advise you to listen to his first two albums. Not many originals but a star cast of players.

All amazing but very different

They are all good.

I often criticise Farlowe for not bringing much to the table of Colosseum and Atomic Rooster but he had an excellent voice in the correct setting.

I voted for Winwood and Chapman straight away, while still toying with who would get my third vote, but it seems that I can't add a third vote.


Though not a fan of Palmer, I think he can sing reasonably well and got more into the soul territory than many on the list.
