RIP Denny Freeman---Austin Guitar Stalwart

Denny Freeman, one of many stellar musicians to move to Austin from North Texas, has left the building. If you are familiar with the Austin blues scene as it was in the 70s and 80s, then you knew (and probably liked) Denny Freeman.

Oh no! That is very sad. I saw him many times over the years before I left the state and then that time at the Austin JU with the organ trio. He paid some dues and then some. RIP Denny
