Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Not entirely spoken but Susan's House by Eels.

Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

This band, Dry Cleaning, are very new and they mostly do spoken word stuff.
This one is great:

I love it when the guitar comes in at 2:17 for some reason.

Is this what you two were talking about?

I'd never heard of it before but someone just posted it in one of my Whatsapp groups. I quite like it, but don't you find it a bit self-help-folksy-wisdom?

This is a new one by someone I've never heard of before. Seems to be in a similar vein to the sunscreen one but with a slice of bitterness.

I think that is part of of its tongue in cheek charm.

I quite like Coney Island but surely it is not one of the "best spoken word tracks". It is not a patch on Big Joe and Phantom 309.

I'd never heard it before and looking it up led me to that album, which I'm really looking forward to listening to today. I love Pulp in their pomp but, for some reason, I've never got round to exploring their earlier work.

Not sure if this counts. No melody but it's 'chanted' rather than spoken. It's dead good though.
