Prog Epics

Postby Lord Rother » 20 Nov 2018, 09:42

There’s nowhere near enough prog on here so, as I love a long track, please give me some meaty stuff to get my teeth into. As you might imagine, I have a bucketload of great stuff to share....

It needs to be 10 mins plus to get in here.

Are you sitting comfortably?

27 mins of brilliance. The word “epic” could have been created for this.

This is an obvious classic, but still a favorite of mine:

I will be working my way through these over time.

Although I know it already I played the VDGG track this pm.

I can appreciate it but it doesn’t sit very comfortably with me.

Surely Todd R's Initiation - a 70-minute (iirc) single LP whose second side was given over to a 30 minute plus "suite"* called A Treatise on Cosmic Fire - must get a nod?
