BCB's favourite Queen tracks - results up now

Postby Brickyard Jack » 25 Oct 2018, 09:09

So with the new biopic out let's do one of these agglomerated lists, as we have done for the stones, bowie, prince and kylie

PM me your top 20 Queen songs IN ORDER with your favourite at the top and your 20th favourite at the bottom.
I will allocate 24 points to the top song, then 23, 22 and so on down to 5 points for the 20th song.
I'll add up all the entries and compile a comprehensive list.
No need to post your list here, but you can if you want. Doesn't matter if you can't think of 20 you like, just send a shorter list.

If lists come in over the next month or so I should be able to publish the result in time for the anniversary of Freddie's death -24 Nov.

Get your lists in!

The chances of anything beyond the 70's appearing on my list are slim to non-existent but I can certainly come up with 20 from their prime years quite easily.

I only like two, max three by Queen:

You're my Best Friend (looking for a V.A. comp with that one on it)
Under Pressure
Crazy Little Thing Called Love

To this day, I own nothing by Queen, a hits comp I couldn't possibly sit through.

It is one of the very few post 70's tracks that I warmed to. Not sure if it can break into my 20. Perhaps need to revisit it.

Splendid lists in already.

I read some article that asserted Don't stop me now was their greatest single, and it has been very fashionable recently. I am intrigued to see how it gets on here.

I am also intrigued to see how Body language gets on.

Would it be too cheeky of me to include Tenement/flick of the wrist/lily of the valley as one song?
