Came home last night to find John Cooper Clarke on Swedish Television’s weekly culture programme. He was the LAST person I expected to turn up. Recited a brilliant new poem, “Time, Gentlemen, Time” but I can’t find a link for that, so here’s his appearance on BBC Radio 4’s “Desert Island Discs”, which is absolutely joyous, after 20 years of being clean
