You must have seen the recent reissue of these U.S. albums on SDE Tom. I thought I was the only one who bought these Capitol sets, can’t say that I ever play them now as they seem so inferior to the U.K. releases. I also bought the CD box set that came out a few years ago, think I only bought it because it was going cheaply, although it’s a really nice artefact.

I've only got the first volume, bought really cheaply when the local Borders was closing.
I was spurred on to listen due to the SDE discussions of the new U.S. box.
They make a bit of a change to listening to the UK albums.

I've avoided all the posthumous Buckley releases, it seemed like the estate were enduring a bit of Hendrixitis.
So only just discovered this, with one time paramour Liz Fraser, which I think is fantastic.
It might be recency bias, but right now I prefer it to any single cut from Grace, which is an album I can take or leave - his old man made at least four better records.
