Fish Rising and Loveless - hated.
Love how much I disagree with you people.
Both epic albums.
I'm in on the hatred for Yes - all albums after Going for the one.
Led Zep 3 would be the one I would throw out. I like Tangerine the rest is garbage
The record you dislike/hate the most in your collection.

The reason I haven’t got albums to chuck out by big bands is I just didn’t go there as their output went into decline- Yes, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Gabriel, ZZ Top, Chicago, Santana, Wishbone Ash, Tyrannosaurus Rex, ELP et alia
.

I recently gave three Joe Bonamassa CDs to my cousin not because I didn’t like them but because I prefer to listen to the real thing.
I didn’t buy them in the first place, my brother did, probably because he likes all that new blues-rock stuff including Drive By Truckers and offshoots

I need to give Loveless another listen but I remember it as a bunch of basic pop songs with a load of feedback piled on top to try and pretend that it’s something more. But it’s probably still better than White Light / White Heat by the Velvet Underground. That one is a bunch of concepts - the unlistenably cacophonous song, the mind-numbingly tedious long song, the shaggy dog story, the torture porn song, etc. - none of which warrant hearing twice.
But I do like the title track and getting rid would leave a gap in the VU collection. Of course I could just get rid of the VU, and Lou Reed, altogether and I wouldn’t be heartbroken. Maybe next cull.

Listening to it is the aural equivalent of drowning in a vat of treacle

I agree with Stephen that Bonamassa is not the real thing as far as blues rock is concerned.
But Drive by Truckers is not to be compared with guitar Joe. While they have been in decline for some time now, they also made some of the best Southern Rock platters. The Dirty South being the best of the lot.

It’s not very good and by the highest standards of Yes it is disappointing, mind you probably a great album by the standards of lesser bands.
I don’t mind it as much as I do when I first bought it. Prefer it to Going For The One, that was incredibly disappointing.

Madness! Going For The One is top 5 Yes. Tormato is pretty poor but at least better than Open Your Eyes which is the worse album I’ve heard by them.
I was going to say the same, Going For the One is fantastic, the song is my second favorite Yes song after Close to the Edge
Moorcock, Moorcock, Michael Moorcock, you fervently moan.
