I know it's almost a rock and roll history cliche, but I really DO have a hard time accepting that this guy playing this is the same one who did those soulful slow numbers on Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs and then settled into a career of easy-paced ballads and JJ Cale covers.

I mean, by analogy, it's as if:
