So you know what Green's computer had on it then? Nothing to do with sensitive national security issues? You know this?

Still waiting for you to point out where Coan and I have defended Green or why Labour haven’t been ineffectual as an opposition, especially where Brexit is concerned.

Labour have been ineffectual as an opposition but it should still be no choice between supporting them or the Tories. Whatever you think of Corbyn's oddball decision-making and the party's split between old-school socialism and the New Labour centre-right, you just have to look across the hall and see people like Green, Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson to know where your vote should be. How much interest do any of the Conservative cabinet have in making life better for the people of the UK? Labour might be a mess but you get the impression they'd at least try.

I think many do have an interest, it's just that their version of how you do that doesn't tally with mine, or yours probably.

I voted Labour at the last election. I can't see myself voting Tory at any point in the future but they have, sadly, enabled this shower of shysters through their incompetence and lack of clarity regarding Brexit.

That's it in a nutshell. Surely nobody would put up with that shower just to avoid somehow being linked with the despised left?

IIrc the police were brought in to investigate leaking during the last Labour government.

Green had a civil service mole in the HO who wanted to get on in the Tory party. Green tasked him with getting juicy damaging stuff, which he did. His actions were illegal. He was sacked but the rozzers investigated green to see what material was leaked - he cried ‘ parliamentary privilege’ but was overruled.

The rest is history.
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

I know it isn't a police matter. I heard the deputy commissioner of the metropolitan police say so yesterday on LBC. Definitely not a police matter,, which is why those two cunts are being prosecuted.

Oh, and to touch a female reporter on the knee and then follow that up with inappropriate texts?

I'll drop the bit about "Typical Tory" which was (clearly) a joke - but, hey, you answer the questions above.

No . I do not think it is acceptable. And as I have already said, he should have been sacked for lying. Not a police matter , but he had to go and should have gone a while ago.But he is a politician and it goes with the territory, After all, wasn't your beloved Tony Blair an accomplished liar. You still voted for him 3 times despite his illegal war.
I accept there is an issue surrounding computer security, but in an mp's office facilities are limited, and it is still not uncommon for computers to be shared by staff and researchers without much regard to internet security. However, as I keep saying, and you keep ignoring me, IT IS NOT A POLICE MATTER.
As far as the " Journalist" is concerned I will say this. Politicians are the scum of the earth. They are the lowest of the low. The vilest most self serving cunts that ever crawled out of the slime. Journalists are worse.

He wasn't hounded by anyone, he told barefaced lies about porn on his computer and threw political researcher under the bus for having the temerity to object to his lecherous behavior.

The ex-police officers where in a position to show that he was lying and good on them for doing so, that is definitely in the public interest.

If he had apologized to the Maltby and admitted he had porn on his work computer this wouldn't have happened and he may have been able to sleaze his way out of it as a sacking matter.

If you had had information that proved a government minister was telling barefaced lies to the world what would you do?

Corbyn and Labour have taken the only sensible route on Brexit: let the Tories own it.

When they could gain a useful victory they have done - on a Parliamentary vote and the concrete leaving date - by using cross bench alliances on the back benches rather than grand standing.

They have learnt their lesson from the Scottish Independence referendum that they cannot stand along side the Tories on anything because the Tories will use it to smear them with.

The only sensible option here is stand back and let the Tories fuck it up because what, exactly, is the brilliant alternative they are missing here?
