... are back!
Nothing's changed of course, but I don't mind. A minute into it I was sold yet again.
Made me realize how much I appreciate Mascis (and Lou and Murph) for still doing that unique thing they do. A morose Jonathan Richman who kinda wears you down and then you can't imagine life without him. Still connecting to the fifteen-year-old in me (somewhere in there between the downpayments and steady job).
Any fans of the post-reunion Dino jr / solo J. records around?
Or what are your favorites from their work?
Any talk about Dino-related topics welcome (well, maybe not Dino Valente or Dean Martin who are not favorites, they're okay, I guess).

Re: Dinosaur jr
I love them!
I have all the Dino albums
All The J Mascis stuff
plus the Fog releases
Wonderful music
I had the pleasure of seeing them twice in the late 80s/early 90s
Robust stuff!

Most recently really loved Tied to a Star from 2014.
Wasn't aware they had something new, so will be checking it out for sure, thanks.

I actually prefer the post reunion stuff. Beyond and Farm are great.
Pick Me Up has one of the most stirring guitar solos ever - about 5 mins of blistering ear ripping noise.

Haven't heard that record, but I love his solo (mostly) acoustic albums.
A couple of years ago I completely bonded with this song from 2014.
The words mean nothing much at all written down, but somehow I know exactly what I think he means.

I've always liked the idea of them/him but never knew where to start. Anyone fancy suggesting a playlist for me?
Bugger off.
