Car accidents

Postby Jimbo » 14 Sep 2020, 15:19

Strangest one I was ever in involved me skipping school, my brand new 1969 Austin Healey Sprite, getting rear-ended at a stop light and smashing in the trunk lid by this lady who admitted it was her fault but begged, begged begged me to report the accident as having happened on the other side of the Hudson River. No cops came by so we exchanged info and her secret was still safe but ... What am I gonna tell to my pop? Skipping school? To do what? With who? "Oh nothing Pop, just me and a pal, some orange sunshine and an all day cruise." :? Pop did the insurance paperwork and reported truthfully where the accident happened. And to this day I wonder what that lady was doing on the wrong side of the Hudson River.

Ever have a car accident?
