No but I heard that he asked Sneelock to start a word association thread but he has to use bread, cheese and anagrams.

The next day his semi-naked body was found staked out in his garden, a copy of GG's album cover Giant For A Day situated where his head had previously been attached

That's no way to talk about Flower!

Was it that Preludin is
"both good and original. The only problem is that the parts that are original aren't any very good and the parts that are
good aren't very original"

Speaking of April Fools, there's a priceless thread on Preludin right now where Coany thinks Hollywood is remaking Withnail and I (
) giving him the chance to do his usual whining bit, before having it pointed out to him that it's just a prank.
I dunno, I've taken a new outlook on that place. The irony of it all makes for endless amusement. Even the Preludin regulars who still post here try to downplay BCB or look down their noses at this place over there, while still engaging in conversations here when it suits them. It's like they have to put on their Preludin masks to fit in when Johnny & Dougie, et al are watching. Try explaining the concept of Preludin/John Coan to an outsider and watch their expression. They can't believe it.

I thought they would just leave it alone - just this one. For us.
But no.

Crikey.
Well, it might not have been the best April Fool's prank I've ever attempted, but I would have thought it was pretty obvious - even to an old soak like yourself - that I was aiming to fool people rather than, you know, being fooled myself.
Don't let bitterness and hatred cloud your vision, Matthew!

Did John Coan really just bring up bitterness and hatred?

He spews up bile every time he visits BCB. His computer keyboard must be a bitch to clean.
