Radioactivity.
Because it has had the biggest variety in moods and still comes together in the singular topic it presents. Big melodies like the title track, Ohm Sweet Ohm, Radio Antenna and Radio Welle are among the best and don't overstay their welcome as what some later tracks did.

The man machine. Neon lights, the model, robots and my current obsession, spacelab - few albums can compare.

Trans Europe Express, the fulcrum of their catalogue. Has the motorik rythmn and the melodies. Also the best cover.

Yep, MM for me, too. Neon L and Spacelab were highlights on their 3D tour - Jesus, was it really three years ago?

Yes - exactly the same here Maarts.

One of my top 3 albums.

I have been playing Computer World a lot of the last couple of days - yesterday twice back to back.

Their last great album as far as I am concerned

A superb album - Neon Lights is an absolute corker and the others you list are not far behind

I love all the 70s ones
But The Man Machine's warm analogue textures, presence of Neon Lights and absence of Hall of Mirrors place it very firmly at No.1

Agreed.

But I still have a very warm feeling for Radioactivity. Got given it for my 14th birthday, October 1975. :D :D

I like each one more than the last as the 70s go on.
Then they drop off the cliff edge in the 80s and do the same again - each one better than the last

Derivative claptrap!

I am amazed nobody has mentioned Autobahn yet.

It's in my top 3 - possibly top position.

I love Ralf & Florian too but that's possible a different band...

I suppose really my fave album is minimum-maximum, but I had assumed we were really only talking about the main 8. Or 11.
