I can't see the image in the first post for some reason. So, which album will it be?

Ah, ok. I can see it now.

Karl Jenkins looks like the guy on the cover these days. Did he back then?

And a question:

What does Karl Jenkins have in common with Barry Gibb, Van Morrison, Bono and Ravi Shankar, but not with David Bowie?

They are all vegetarians except Bowie

Is that true? Fair enough if it is. Not what I was thinking of though. OK, you can add Mick Jagger to the 'in common' list.

And there are conflicting reports about Bono:

Well, I don't think anyone cares about my quiz question, but I'll tell you anyway: they all have knighthoods. Karl Jenkins must be the most obscure rock musician to ever got that honour. Unless anyone knows of a better candidate...?

Anyway, I listened to this (See! I'm really trying.) but I shan't put a downer on proceedings by joining for the sync listen.
I recognise the incredible technical competence; the drummer and the guitarist in particular, well, they're bloody fast, aren't they! But it's not for me.
I don't really enjoy it when bands signify that 'this is jazz-rock' by having the guitar and bass playing the exact same lines at the same time, and all that 'million beats/notes a second' playing, while breathtakingly skilful, feels a bit much like showing off. I can't hear any attempt to actually produce a tune!

I like tunes.

Each to their own. I hope you all enjoy it.
Bugger off.

I am pretty much with Rorschach on this one, but I might drop by for a bit if I'm able.

I've recently found myself with some belated appreciation for albums 5-7, but this one's a bridge too far.

It's basically all about Ratledge's organ for me.

From what I've heard Bundles is way too Holdsworthy for my taste. But I'm willing to have my mind changed.
