i'm gonna try. i know i've missed so much. on friday, i will be tied up four-five hours before, so it depends on whether i get out in time or not.

i love neil. even aside from his incredible drumming and lyrics, i related closely to him on many levels. *sigh*

Hope so, but no worries if you can't.

I'm a newbie to Rush, so experienced guidance & insights will be gratefully received. My time will be flexible.

Very sorry to be unable to make this one, as I have a family commitment.

It will be a pleasure, as always, to rock out to Xanadu this morning.

RIP Neil Peart: a spectacular drummer by any standard.

This album is responsible for me discovering kath’s love of the vibroslap.

Good afternoon/evening. I raise my glass to wish you good health and happiness, and to absent friends.

Geddy Lee - one of the big 3 helium boys!

I love his voice

Solid tubs (of course)

If necessary...

Had a bit of week & am somewhat shattered. Not at all sure what this is going to be like, think I've heard a track or two in a shop environment over thirty years ago.

Started well enough!

Alex Lifeson's guitar and approach always reminds me of Martin Barre from Tull - understated (perfectly) but omnipresent

That's the spirit - yes you sound tired....

I am not a massive fan - I have 4 or 5 of their albums

When played, they always hit the spot.

Peart is very machine like and perfect for Rush

Penetrating vocals, sublime guitar and great tunes

I was really enjoying that.

Interestingly, in our assembly this afternoon when children were asked who their heroes are, and after they'd been asked for any musical or sporting heroes, a boy in Yr 4 said Geddy Lee. The worship leader didn't know who he was.

Not recognising yet, though the atmospheric start is good. Was playing Abercrombie & Towner's Sargasso Sea prior to this.

Not sure why, they're rockier than any expectation I had.

Percussion is very good!
