I can't argue with this assessment. I was absolutely obsessed with it at the age of 7 when it was number 1 for what seemed like forever. It still has the power to stop me in my tracks when I hear it.

Had it been like an actual opera where the lyrics made sense I'd have said it was a good try for a rock band to prove our parents and music teachers wrong, that yes, we are capable of making popular music as challenging as classic operatic music.
