Fine album except for the excruciating, execrable excrement that is Amazing Grace - what were they thinking?

Horrid album. I do enjoy listening to it though (as daft as that sounds). I prefer Hogwash - which I've got a lush original copy of - but Split is their best.

Sorry to disagree but for me Thank Christ is easily their best.

RCA Victor – APL1-0576
1974
Fantastic! It clicks and sticks between Diamond Dogs and Sweet Thing but that just enhances the whole experience

You are much more qualified than me to set the standard. I guess you're correct

They may not be a favourite on here but they did make some great records.

Got a beautiful copy of this. Oddly enough a 1980 version from Portugal. Pristine... other than a warp that affects track 1 and 2 on both lps

Remember when that first came out it took me ages to get a decent copy of it. Took it back to change it that many times and eventually gave up, finally buying an excellent copy second hand at a boot fair. It came out at some stage on yellow vinyl, bought it at a record fair years later but the vinyl sounded awful - that old adage about coloured vinyl not sounding as good as black proved to be true.
