Beetroot's pretty great and very in. I'm a savoury man at heart so there goes my vote. It helps, perhaps, that beetroot can put in a sweet shift grated for a cake. Rhubarb can't return the favour.

Fucking hell, I could kill some stewed rhubarb. The weather has turned. It's JUST the time for it.

I absolutely love both of them. Choosing one over the other is like asking me to choose between my children.

I grow both as well in my garden.

I could really eat a dish of roasted beetroots (and parsnips) with lashings of butter on a miserable evening like this.

Chilled beet juice, with a dash of rock salt is delicious but you have to be careful drinking it as it's the devil of a stain to get out of pale clothing and fabrics.
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Yuk Beets the only veggie I don't eat. Thank Grandma serving me borscht for breakfast age age three.
I do eat them a bit now.

Rhubarb is more a pie filler but eat it other ways too.
