The Who's New Single
I quite like it. Seems like a better production than they have had since the 70s. Some nice acerbic Townshend lyrics and Who like intervals. For once it sounds not too labored, spontaneous.
Let's hear the whole album.

I really desperately want to hate this but I'm tapping along with it quite happily.

I agree. It's the best Who song I've heard in a long time.
I love the album cover too: very Stanley Road.

How about:
All this music will fade, like every note that I made.
All this music will fade, no more the endless parade.

I suppose it has more of a finality than:
The mosquito's sting brings a dream
But the poison's derange
The music must change.

The music must change.
Give a shit or be a shit.

I'm pleasantly shocked that it's not absolutely terrible!
