Folk Cup - starting today!

Postby never/ever » 27 Sep 2019, 12:49

Anyone feel like channeling their inner hippie and play in this Cup?

Initially it was mentioned on a separate thread that acoustic tracks in general would qualify. Anyone who would like to add their two cents, please do!

Trying to get it going mid October.

Although I received the first two MFQ albums from Japan yesterday, I really don't have enough representation in the archives to play.

Haven't done one of these for a while, with all the proggy nonsense going on so assuming we are talking broad church folk then I'm in.

That's all good! I'll give it some time so I can gauge the number of entries anyway.

And broad church is the only church.

So...

1. The Argyle Sweatered One
2. The Man Of A Thousand Head Covers
3. The Fish Of The Sea
4. The Snow Covered Mountain
5. The Dutchman

So if it's anything acoustic, I'll play, too.

Make it broad church folk, acoustic and electric, that will get more results.

(already picked my 10)

That is indeed the main portion of what I am suggesting so you can safely enter.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.
