Re: Prog Synch Listen: MM's Earth Band, Friday 9th August @ 9am (UK)
OOOOooooooof!
While not exactly a hard rocking album, nor especially complex - something I should have remarked on as a major factor in the enjoyment provided by Hatfield & t' North - I have found that this has hit a sweet spot more and more recently. Not only will there be some noddin' and swayin' but there'll be some harmonizin' a going on.

Good afternoon/evening. I raise my glass to wish you good health & happiness and to remember absent friends.
Let the music play - Manfred knew how to spot a good tune.

I go to this as an easy listening album - there's nothing hugely challenging about it - but the arrangements and sheer musicality are superb.

Mike Heron, Joan Armatrading…
As you say JJ , the lad could recognise great songs throughout the catalogue

And a vocal arrangement that does likewise.
Singing the Dolphin Through. More magical vocals.

I love this track!
Dave Flett is a very good guitarist - I sometimes forget he was with Thin Lizzy
