Nad Sylvan is the guy who sings the Gabriel stuff with Steve Hackett - I haven’t FULLY switched on to his solo stuff yet but I think it’s worth persisting with....
Just played this track and it sounded superb so today may be the day to submerge....

Re: PROG CORNER
I’ve played this 3 or 4 times in the last couple of weeks, so it must be ok!
Dreamy, psyched folk pop prog - (sometimes I nearly embarrass myself with my assessments of what an album sounds like. When I read them back I often think wtf are you on about!?)
Anyway.... this is a Swedish band (kind of a super group as all members have an established history elsewhere). I think their output in other bands tends to be somewhat heavier.

Re: PROG CORNER
Issun - Dark Green Glow
Completely unknown band, there’s almost nothing about them on the internet although they are developing a website at the moment (they say).
Vocals are unaccented English but I believe they may be German.
Tobias Schröder Vocals,Keys,Percussion
Simon Schröder-Drums
Marc Andrejkovits-Bass
Markus Ottenberg-Guitars
This is their 2nd album and damn fine it is. Really nice discovery. Hard edged (not metal) melodic modern prog. (Same lines as the excellent Evership and maybe It Bites.)

I think that’s his best track, the solos by Hackett and Govan are tremendous. I can’t see the join nor do I know who plays when, but I’ve played this dozens of times. He has a new album out any day now.

Re: PROG CORNER
Wanted something as background music that wouldn’t disturb concentration, and thought of Eno.... it did the trick - it’s really really boring.

One play on the way to the office, and another on the way back this evening.
Excellent follow up to their marvellous debut album.

Re: PROG CORNER
Another one suitable for the work day.
Their profile says this - “Amethystium is the soundtrack to a journey – between light and darkness, humanity and fantasy. A dreamy fusion of ambient electronica, world music and neoclassical darkwave, the music walks a tight-rope between bliss and melancholy, taking listeners on an emotive escape from the ordinary.”
It’s actually a fair bit better than that suggests. Not something I’d dash back to hear again, but certainly better than Eno.
Amethystium - Isabliss
And Emblem by same artist, which it seems is a compilation.

My first rock gig. Did you see them, Dad? I bought the reissue a month ago. Not top drawer but has some great moments. Very fond memories. Of course featuring my friend Bernie on guitar. And great tubs.

Melodic metal.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?
