Curiosity Stream and how many channels is enough?

Postby The Prof » 15 Jul 2019, 14:08

One of those adverts that keeps popping up on Facebook for a channel specialising in history, art and science documentaries.
Set up by the people behind The Discovery Channel.
For $20 for a year I didn't think it was too bad value.
Turns out its OK.

You can never have enough programmes on the Knight's Templars.

Any other takers?

looks great but I'm having trouble adjusting to the sudden change in how our TV choices make it into our brains.
I know the cable business model was horseshit and have no problem in seeing it die a Viking's Death but I'm not so sure about how things are shaping up.
If you have 5 shows you like, you might need to go to five different services to get them. next year there's almost sure to be five more shows from five OTHER places. well, hell. I don't know if I'll ever get used to that.
uggy poopy doody.
