Neil Jung and I (et alia?) were at this Royal Albert gig.

I love this song - from Genesis' best album

I'll try to make this. It's a very mixed record for me - I'm much more of a Caddick fan than a Tams fan, and I much prefer the debut, but I can at least enjoy blasting "Babylon" loud enough that my work neighbors express concern about my hearing.

They make such a delightful noise.

John Tams voice (and Bill Caddick's) throughout is just nerve-tingling

Good afternoon/evening! I raise my glass to wish you good health & happiness and to absent friends.

An absolute corker.

The anthemic, mournful yet uplifting title track kicks in. Ooof.

The lyrics as poignant now as they were then

Robust stuff, full of music with shed-loads of ooofness

A special toast for Graeme Taylor, tasteful in the extreme.

The Sweet, Sweet Rose of Allendale. Magical.
