A is fusion with great chops and little imagination.
I briefly thought about B myself, but declared it too obvious. Still, it's so many miles better than A that it can't be denied.

I actually encountered that Prism song in my YouTube recommendations once before. It’s fine guitar driven fusion and all, but is just outclassed by a stone-cold prog masterpiece like “Shine On Brightly.” B without hesitation.

I enjoyed A but can't these youngsters come up with something that sounds different to Jaco Pastorius and Allan Holsdworth?
The lad Dave is spot on about B
I'm going for the youngsters - clone Jacos are fine by me

A was competent enough but it washed over me somewhat and reminded me why the best fusion is streets ahead of the also rans.
B is an a bit of an obvious pick but it was good to hear it again as it's been a while.

Tough choice.
In the end the lyrics of Procul put me off enough to decide against it. Prism had just enough about them to keep me interested.
A by the width of Tim Rice's rhyming dictionary.

Tough one. A is pretty good and entertaining but lacks a certain oomph.
B is Procol in flyte, just not quite hammering it down in this one....

Man, it seems we're going full-on with Japanese prog this year! That's fine, I don't mind, but I do think you can do better than A which comes across as a rather beige slice of late fusion. B's too obvious, but it's a monster of a track - prog's first side-long epic? Not sure, but it's godly all the same. B

A - nice Fusion but nothing that outstanding or memorable.
B - classic early proto prog.

Despite sounding like every piece of Fusion I’ve ever heard I’m sure it can’t be termed derivative because it doesn’t sound like Genesis at all - although A is well played for sure Fusion can pretty much do one as far as I’m concerned.
