I've always loved Guadalcanal Diary, their first 3 LPs were sublime. Their sound at the time was really that of an emerging and energetic brand of what was dubbed college radio rock but they seemed to have a very intimate quality about their sound as well. Unfortunately I never got to see them live.
Really sad to hear Jeff passed away a few days back... I had heard he was struggling with his health. RIP.

Sad to hear this news. While I didn't know their names, the band itself I always liked, especially the song, "Trail of Tears". RIP

A real shame. I kind of preferred The Woggles to GD, though.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
