The Prog Cup 2019 *JOELS344 IS YOUR CHAMPION *

Postby never/ever » 06 May 2019, 09:34

Apologies for the delay, here we go....

We have 12 combatants! Since two groups of 7 1/2 is baloney and there is fuck all else to do on these boards, we'll make one group of 12- which means I will need 11 songs!
Can I ask that you have your lists ready to go by May 20? If you can't fit 11 in two weeks, can I at least have 7 as a minimum by then?

Top 4 at the final reckoning will go on into a knock-out competition- best of 3 songs for the semi-final, best of five for the final.
As entrants I have:
1. PB
2. Al
3. LR
4. JKB
5. HT
6. LK (GoM)
7. Joels344
8. Neige
9. toomanytimesignaturez
10.TCE
11. N/e
12. Mike “Magus Perde” Boom

Prog on.

Working on it! By the way, I thought there were 15 participants, who dropped out?

I did.
An even number of draws means no byes.
Besides, there's no guarantee that everyone will be in time with their lists.... ;)

The day of judgement's come,
And you can bet that I've been resting,
for this testing,
Digesting every word the experts say.

Just sent my list. It's full of silly voices singing in foreign languages. Oh it's ON.

Thanks for your lists guys!

Unfortunately I have received news that 3 initial players will not be entering, which means that we now have 12 players (I will enter now as well!)

Therefore the number of tracks needed is now 11!

I thinks it's immediately apparent, but at least we won't have to tolerate tracks by Stephen Stills or Molly Hatchet.

I adjusted the roll call list, that's what pb is alluding to.

FYI, C, Kath and Nancy are not playing- they indicated they had to take time off and couldn't supply a list.

Easiest for me is like this :

1. Genesis - Suppers Ready
