However consider their 69-71 period to be their best although they have amazing shows thru out their career.

It's silly to go on about how lousy they covered that song though. It is, after all, only one song. The rest of the show is still great. The fact that The Who did not one, but two shit covers of James Brown songs doesn't ruin the My Generation album for me.
