This'll help

Superb, excellent, great, etc. 'Lovely Jubbly' was originally an advertising slogan for 'Jubbly', a triangular-shaped frozen orange drink which was popular in the 1950s and 60s. Later popularised by the character 'Del Boy' in British comedy 'Only fools and Horses'.

Rodney: "'Ere Del Boy, geezer over there says he'll give you a pony for the Betamax video recorder if you throw in a case of that Yugoslavian Scotch."
Del: "Lovely Jubbly!"

Great track, but my least favourite song on the album, it does lack the intensity of the Son House version I'm more familiar with.

Yes.

Brings an intensity to it that the Beatle's version doesn't have!

i think it is easy sometimes to forget the actual chord chimy singular stuff the beatles came up with, or maybe i was just so young when i fell in love with it, but hearing mule do it just puts a more emphatic thing on it. somehow.
