hi all,
A few notes about Govt Mule, from hightea
1. Warren is amazing
2. Miss Allen Woody they were better with him (I saw the last show with him - he died in a NY hotel a few days later)
3. Matt Abts is a great drummer
4. I've seen warren with a least 10 different bands
5. I was at the benefit show for Allen Woody (9/20/00)- Warren played guitar for 7 hours that night as he played with all the bands- Phil Lesh & Friends, Black Crows, Allman Brothers and then an endless Govt Mule and friends with tons of guests. crazy night

Chuck Leavell was sitting in on keyboard/piano. It was stellar.

I'm a sucker for all the call and response between instruments. Hits a sweet spot.
