Black Star live

Postby Robert » 29 Mar 2019, 10:32

At 46.22 there's a live version of Black Star. It must be rare, Bowie can't have made many live performances. Does anybody know
from which performance this comes?

I don't think that's Bowie

Yes I thought that too but there are several points in the song that are very convincing ( and some that are not).

The rest of it's Bowie though, isn't it.
Has some wag just dropped BlackStar into it to confuse people?

I just did a search on Youtube of 'Blackstar' covers, and it seems as though it's this fella:

Sounds more like an unscrupulous bootleg seller trying to snare some gullible Bowie completists.

Unscrupulous and a total bellend for putting it up on YouTube.

Equally likely to have been put up on youtube by someone who stupidly paid money for a bootleg CD whose individual songs they could easily have downloaded online had they only bothered to look.
